New 42-inch and 55 inch 4K UHD OLED with Google TV

At IFA, Metz presented this year’s models of its smart METZ blue 4K UHD OLED TVs with Google TV. With the new MOD9001 family, METZ blue is also launching a 42-inch model for the first time, closing an important gap in the market for high-quality OLED televisions.
At IFA, Metz presented the latest models of its smart UHD OLEDs from the young METZ blue brand. In addition to the classic 55-inch / 139cm format, the new MOD9001 product family now also offers customers a compact 42-inch / 106cm screen size. Thus, METZ blue closes an important gap in the market for high-quality OLED TVs.
Lifelike colours, perfect black
Featuring ultra high definition OLED picture technology, the 120Hz panel individually controls over 8 million pixels. It supports all common HDR formats, including HDR10, HDR 10+, HLG and Dolby Vision IQ®. Thus, this year’s models offer television in lifelike colours with perfect blacks and rich contrasts.
Entertainment with powerful sound
Despite its slim design, the TV’s sound benefits from a 2-way stereo bass reflex system with built-in subwoofer supported by two additional effects speakers. This means even the compact 42-inch MOD9001 provides a brilliant, first-class sound experience. An optical S/PDIF port can also be used to provide Dolby Atmos™ surround sound via an appropriate soundbar. An elegant rotating aluminium base complements the extraordinary features of this high-quality OLED TV.
Simply smart television
Thanks to its integrated triple tuner, the MOD9001 can receive television output via satellite, cable and antenna. In addition, Google TV® offers limitless smart TV enjoyment with a user-friendly interface, personalised recommendations and convenient voice control via the integrated Google Assistant. The new METZ blue MOD9001 OLED TVs will soon be available in 42-inch and 55-inch screen sizes, with prices starting at €1,199 RRP.
